Goonoo Goonoo Station

Goonoo Goonoo Station is an historic property located in the Peel River Valley, 25km south of Tamworth. It contains some of the region’s most prized heritage buildings dating back to the 1840s, all beautifully restored to capture the spirit of Australia’s pastoral and agricultural story as it continues to evolve. In fact, Goonoo Goonoo Station is much more than a relic of a bygone era – it is a fully operational cattle station, and the flagship of the Goonoo Goonoo Pastoral company which runs approximately 9,000 head of cattle.

Now, Goonoo Goonoo Station is creating fresh history with the launch of its stunning Glasshouse restaurant, The Woolstore event space, and boutique accommodation for up to 32 guests – opening its doors to the public in such a way that everyone can experience its fascinating story, and making it an ideal venue for weddings, corporate events and private functions.
